The reporting platform
VSMESmart is an online platform on which you enter your company’s data and obtain a complete VSME report. It is not a document template and not a consultancy engagement. You work through the questions at your own pace, and the report is produced from the answers you have given.
What the platform does
Guided question flow
Questions appear in a logical order and only where they apply to you. Definitions, units and thresholds are explained next to the field you are completing.
Calculations handled for you
Enter consumption figures in the units you already hold. Conversions and totals are performed by the platform, which removes a common source of error.
Immediate report generation
Download in Word and PDF whenever you wish, as a draft during preparation or as the final version. There is no approval queue and no waiting period.
How the report is produced
The report is generated from a library of pre-approved sentence structures. Your figures are placed into those structures; the wording follows the standard and the numbers come from your own entries. Nothing in the report is invented, estimated or written by a language model.
This matters because a sustainability report is read by people who will act on it. Every figure must be traceable to the answer you provided, and it is.
Your data
It remains yours
Your entries are used to produce your report and for no other purpose. They are not shared with third parties and are not published anywhere.
Carried forward
Next year’s reporting begins from this year’s answers. You update what has changed rather than starting again, and the report shows the comparison.

Personal data within your submissions is processed in accordance with applicable data protection law, and access is restricted to your own account.
