Our VSME training & workshop programme is now open
In a two-day training and workshop session you learn the principles of the voluntary standard and write part of your report with us.
We deliver the training in house — on your premises or online. Instead of a general presentation on the standard, we work through your own undertaking’s data.
- We go through every question, from Basic Module (B1–B11) to Comprehensive Module (C1–C9) disclosures one by one.
- We complete part of them together — disclosures your existing data already answers are drafted during the workshop.
- We assign the rest — who provides which data, from where and for which period. This gives you a structured plan to complete your first VSME report.

Day 1, Morning Session — The Wider Picture
- Why is sustainability information reported, and for whom?
- The EU framework: CSRD, ESRS and the state of play after the Omnibus package
- Other frameworks compared: IFRS, GRI and VSME
- Organising reporting internally: data ownership, collection and responsibilities
Day 1, Afternoon Session — The VSME Standard: Logic and Principles
- Purpose, scope and the voluntary nature of the standard
- Basic Module and Comprehensive Module: which one your undertaking chooses
- Reporting principles; disclosures that are not applicable (§13); classified or sensitive information (§19)
Day 2, Morning Session — Basic Module (B1–B11)
- Each disclosure from B1 to B11, taken in turn
- Your existing data reviewed and the gaps marked for each one
- Report text drafted together for every disclosure your data answers
Day 2, Afternoon Session — Comprehensive Module (C1–C9)
- The content of C1 to C9 and what each disclosure asks for
- Joint assessment of which disclosures your undertaking can report
- Drafting the report text for the disclosures you take on
Day 2, Closing Hour — Your Roadmap
- The drafted sections compiled into a report draft
- Outstanding data points listed, each with an owner and a date
- Publication, internal approval and data management for the next reporting year
